- Splash some water on the surface and start sharpening. You don t need to soak the stone with water prior to use. Simply moisten it with water while sharpening.

- Make sure to use the stone on the flat, stable and non-slippery surface.

- Wash it well with water after use. Air dry it and store it away from the direct sunlight.

- In case a part of the stone is chipped after a fall, for example, make sure to smooth out the chipped part so that the blade won t be damaged when sharpening with it.
